The BSM25GP120 is a 1200 V IGBT module built in the EconoPIM2 package for industrial and commercial power-electronics systems. It integrates IGBTs and free-wheeling diodes to support inverter, motor-drive, UPS, and brake-chopper functions in a compact insulated case. The module is designed for stable operation in medium-power topologies where controlled switching and straightforward thermal handling are required.
The module provides a DC collector current rating of 45 A at Tc = 25 °C and 25 A at Tc = 80 °C, with a total power-dissipation capability of 230 W. Its diode characteristics enable management of regenerative and surge currents encountered in typical inverter and motor-control applications. The electrical limits, including a 1200 V collector-emitter blocking voltage and ±20 V gate-emitter peak rating, allow integration into a wide range of power-conversion circuits.
The BSM25GP120 operates within a −40 °C to +125 °C temperature range and uses an isolated EconoPIM2 housing that supports efficient mounting and thermal transfer.
