Infineon FP50R12KT4 — 1200 V IGBT Power Module
The Infineon FP50R12KT4 is a 1200 V IGBT module built on Trench/Fieldstop IGBT4 technology within the EconoPIM™2 package. It integrates inverter, rectifier and brake-chopper functions into a single module and provides a continuous collector current of 50 A at TC ≈ 95 °C. Its electrical and structural design makes it suitable for motor drives, UPS equipment and renewable-energy conversion systems.
The module is designed to maintain low conduction and switching losses, supporting a maximum junction temperature of 175 °C. It offers stable thermal behavior, a 280 W total power dissipation rating (TC = 25 °C), and uses solder-contact technology with an isolated copper base plate to improve electrical consistency and mechanical stability.
With its integrated topology and compact EconoPIM™2 footprint, the FP50R12KT4 supports efficient system layout and predictable switching performance.
