The A2611 (also known as HCPL‑2611) is a single‑channel logic‑gate optocoupler combining a GaAsP LED and high‑gain photodetector with an open-collector output stage. It provides isolation rated to 3.75 kVrms (UL) or 480 Vrms working voltage, and features a guaranteed common‑mode transient immunity of 10,000 V/µs (typical 15,000 V/µs at 400 V) across −40 °C to +85 °C.
This device supports 10 MBd data rate and TTL/LSTTL logic compatibility with fan‑out up to 8. It includes a strobe (enable) input, wired‑OR open collector output, and requires only 5 mA LED drive for a minimum 13 mA sink output. It is suitable for I/O buffering, microcontroller isolation, power supply control, line receivers, and harsh-noise environments such as switch‑mode PSUs and motor drives.
