The STMicroelectronics STD5NM50 is an N-Channel power MOSFET rated for 500 V drain-source voltage and 7.5 A continuous current. Built using ST’s MDmesh™ technology, it provides low on-resistance (typical 0.7 Ω) and fast switching with a low gate charge of approximately 13 nC, making it suitable for high-voltage power conversion circuits.
This MOSFET features reliable avalanche and dv/dt performance, ensuring stable operation under fast switching and pulsed load conditions. It is commonly used in switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), DC-DC converters, telecom power systems, and other industrial or commercial power electronics applications.
Housed in DPAK (TO-252) or IPAK (TO-251) packages, the STD5NM50 allows compact PCB design while maintaining thermal performance. Its combination of efficiency, durability, and voltage handling makes it suitable for solar inverters, battery chargers, motor control systems, and automation circuits.
