LEM LA 100-P/SP13 Current Transducer
LA 100-P/SP13
The LA 100-P/SP13 by LEM is a closed-loop Hall-effect current transducer designed for precise measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents in power electronics. It supports a primary nominal RMS current of 100 A and a measuring range up to ±160 A, with a secondary nominal current of 100 mA at a 1:1000 turns ratio. Its compact PCB-mount design with a 12.7 × 7 mm aperture allows easy integration into inverter systems, UPS, welding units, and industrial motor drives.
The device provides stable performance with low offset drift, wide bandwidth from DC to 200 kHz, and typical accuracy of ±0.45%. Operating from a ±12 … 15 V supply, it offers fast response times (<500 ns to 10% and <1 µs to 90% for a 100 A step). Electrical safety is ensured by reinforced insulation, an AC test voltage of 2.5 kV RMS, and impulse withstand capability of 4.5 kV in compliance with EN 50178 and IEC 61010-1 standards.
With no insertion losses and PCB-mounted secondary connections, the LA 100-P/SP13 enables efficient current sensing in compact designs. Its lightweight 18 g construction, overload capability, and operating temperature range from −25 °C to +70 °C support use in both industrial and commercial power electronic systems.
