It delivers a 1200 V collector–emitter rating with a continuous inverter collector current of 100 A (Tc = 100 °C) and low VCE(sat), helping systems achieve high power density while keeping conduction losses low. The module integrates converter and dynamic-brake circuitry in a PCB-mountable PIM package, simplifying design and saving board space for dense motor-drive and UPS assemblies.

Built for long service life under heavy switching, the 7MBR100XRE120-50 supports high junction temperatures (inverter/brake Tvj up to 175 °C) and offers substantial collector power dissipation (Pc ≈ 685 W for the inverter device), enabling robust thermal tolerance in continuous and transient loads.
