DSEI2X101-12A
The DSEI2X101-12A by Littelfuse (IXYS) is a dual isolated fast recovery epitaxial diode (FRED) designed for power electronic applications. It comes in a SOT-227B (miniBLOC) package and features two independent diodes, each with a repetitive peak reverse voltage (V_RRM) of 1200V and an average forward current (I_FAV) of 91A. The forward voltage drop is 1.87V at 100A, reducing conduction losses and improving efficiency.
With a reverse recovery time (t_rr) of 40ns, the DSEI2X101-12A minimizes switching losses and electromagnetic interference (EMI). It is suitable for freewheeling diodes, snubber circuits, and rectifiers in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Its soft recovery behavior supports high-frequency switching devices, enabling reliable operation in industrial and commercial environments.
The diode uses planar passivated chips on a copper base plate with direct copper bonding (DCB) isolation for improved thermal performance and mechanical stability. The isolation voltage rating is 2500V~. The epoxy material meets UL 94V-0 flammability standards and the device complies with RoHS.
