The SLIMDIP-L is an intelligent power module designed for low-capacity, three-phase inverter applications in industrial and commercial systems. It features a 600 V reverse-conducting IGBT (RC-IGBT) with integrated free-wheeling diodes and bootstrap circuitry. This single-control package incorporates both high-voltage and low-voltage drive circuits, level shifting, and protection functions—streamlining board layouts and reducing external component requirements.
Handling up to ±15 A per IGBT (with peak support up to ±30 A), the SLIMDIP-L offers a compact footprint—approximately 30 % smaller than Mitsubishi’s Super-Mini DIPIPM modules. Thermal performance is maintained through a transfer-mold package infused with high-thermal-conductivity insulation, and the module supports case temperatures up to +115 °C, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.
Built-in protections include under-voltage lockout for both P-side and N-side, short-circuit protection on the N-side IGBT, over-temperature protection, fault signaling, and temperature monitoring via an analog output. The module accepts Schmitt-triggered logic inputs compatible with both 3 V and 5 V systems and is UL-recognized under UL1557.
This module is well suited for three-phase low-power motor inverter drives operating from AC 100–240 V (up to 400 V DC), commonly found in household appliances and light industrial power systems such as air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, fans, and pumps.
