The Mitsubishi Electric PSS50S71F6 is a compact Dual-In-Line Intelligent Power Module (DIP/IPM) engineered for efficient, reliable 3-phase DC/AC inverter applications. With a 600 V collector–emitter rating and continuous inverter output capability of 50 A (100 A peak), this transfer-molding insulated module integrates high-speed gate drives, bootstrap diodes with limiting resistors, and LVIC temperature output, delivering high switching performance and predictable thermal behaviour for air conditioners, washing machines and other low-power motor drives.

Designed for system reliability and ease of use, the PSS50S71F6 includes both P-side and N-side drive circuits with under-voltage (UV) protection, N-side short-circuit (SC) protection, and fault signalling (SC and UV outputs). The module’s electrical robustness is supported by a 2.5 kVrms isolation rating between all pins and the heat sink plate, a junction temperature range up to 150°C, and conservative dissipation limits (100 W per chip at Tc = 25°C), making it suitable for demanding industrial and commercial environments where safety and longevity matter.
