Cosel MGFS40 DC-DC Converter

The MGFS40 series from Cosel delivers 40W of reliable DC-DC conversion in a compact, industry-standard 1″ × 1″ PCB-mount module. Designed for industrial and commercial power-electronics applications, the MGFS40 accepts a wide input range (DC 4.5-13V, 9-36V or 18-76V) and offers multiple output voltages (3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V). Its six-sided metal shield, synchronized rectification circuit, and built-in protections make it ideal for demanding environments where board space, efficiency, and reliability matter. 

Efficiency and durability are central to the MGFS40 design. Automatic recovery overcurrent protection, remote ON/OFF functionality, and the exclusion of aluminum and tantalum electrolytic capacitors (reducing degradation over time) help ensure long-life operation. With isolation of 1,500VDC between input and output and excellent thermal handling in its shielded package, this converter performs consistently under prolonged load, wide temperature ranges, and frequent switching conditions.
