HXN50-P

The LEM HXN50-P is a precision current transducer designed for accurate current measurement in industrial and commercial power electronics. Using open-loop Hall effect technology, it provides galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits, ensuring safe operation and minimal interference. With a nominal current of 50 ARMS and a measuring range up to ±150 A, it is suitable for applications such as AC variable speed drives, DC motor drives, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and switched-mode power supplies (SMPS).

The HXN50-P operates with a dual supply voltage of ±12 to ±15 V and provides an analog voltage output linear with the measured current. Its output resistance is <50 Ω, and recommended load is ≥10 kΩ. The transducer maintains accuracy within ±1% of nominal current and a linearity error of ±1% of nominal current. It functions reliably across an ambient temperature range of −25°C to +85°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of environmental conditions.

The device meets reinforced insulation standards up to 300 V, with partial discharge extinction voltage ≥1 kV and impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV. Its compact design with standard PCB mounting allows for easy integration into power electronic systems. The HXN50-P’s verified performance characteristics support consistent system monitoring and control in industrial applications.
