HAIS 150-P
The HAIS 150-P is a current transducer designed for the measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents up to 150 A RMS nominal. Using an open-loop Hall effect sensing principle, the sensor provides galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits, ensuring safety and accuracy in high-power applications. Its compact PCB-mountable design allows integration into power electronic systems such as AC variable speed drives, servo motor drives, static converters for DC motor drives, battery-supplied applications, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), and power supplies for welding applications.
The HAIS 150-P delivers an output voltage that is ratiometric to the measured current, with a theoretical sensitivity of 0.625 V/A. It operates with a single +5 V power supply and has a fixed offset and gain for straightforward system integration. Its low power consumption and high immunity to external interference make it suitable for industrial and commercial environments. The device is housed in an insulating plastic case meeting UL 94-V0 standards for safety and durability.
With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and a response time of less than 5 µs, the HAIS 150-P maintains reliable performance under various conditions. Its accuracy of ±1% and linearity error of ±0.5% of IPN provide precise measurements over a wide range of operating currents. The sensor is suitable for use in power supplies, motor control systems, and other applications where accurate current measurement is required.
