The FOD3150 is a gate drive optocoupler offering isolated signal transfer with high noise immunity. It supports up to 1 A output current and up to 5 kVrms isolation, making it suitable for reliably driving IGBT/MOSFET gate stages in industrial power electronics.

Operating from a 15 V to 30 V supply, the FOD3150 features ultra-fast switching: ≤ 500 ns propagation delays, ≤ 300 ns pulse width distortion, and rise/fall times of ~60 ns. Built-in UVLO with hysteresis and push-pull P‑channel MOSFET output stages ensure robust switching even in fluctuating voltage and noisy environments.

With common-mode transient immunity of at least 20 kV/µs, the device maintains clean gate control in EMI-heavy applications. It is certified for safety per UL1577 and IEC60747‑5‑2, and withstands >8 mm creepage/clearance (option ‘T’). Operating temperature range spans −40 °C to +100 °C in industrial environments.
