The RHRP860 Fast Recovery Diode is a 600 V, 8 A diode designed for power‑electronics applications. Packaged in a TO‑220 case, it provides ultrafast recovery and efficient rectification for high-voltage power supplies, solar inverters, motor drives, and automation controls. It operates reliably under industrial and commercial electrical conditions, minimizing energy loss and thermal stress.
Constructed with a silicon‑nitride passivated, ion‑implanted epitaxial planar structure, the RHRP860 offers a reverse-recovery time of ≤ 35 ns, with a typical soft recovery of < 30 ns. This reduces stored charge, switching losses, and electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for high-frequency switching power supplies and PWM-driven motor controllers. Its maximum forward voltage is 2.1 V at 8 A, helping to lower conduction losses.
The diode supports a non-repetitive peak surge current of 100 A and operates over a junction temperature range of –65 °C to +175 °C. Its TO‑220‑2 package provides thermal stability and ease of mounting.
